We are looking for passionate educators to join our leadership at the national level in promoting effective, innovative science education beyond your school or district. If elected, you will take office on June 1, 2025.

Eligible Offices for the 2025 Election

Board of Directors

  • President

  • Early Career Educator (within 5 years of their first position in an educational field)

  • 3 Board Member At-Large Directors (Two directors with 4-year terms and One director with a 2-year partial term)

Leadership Council

Members from the following Districts to serve as District Leaders:

  • District III: Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland

  • District V: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands

  • District IX: Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota

  • District XI: Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska

  • District XV: Idaho, Montana, Wyoming

  • District XVII: Alaska, Oregon, Washington

Members from the following constituencies to serve as Division Leaders:

  • High School Science Teachers

  • Science Coordinators/Supervisors

  • Post-secondary Instructors

Application Deadline

All applications must be completed and submitted by MIDNIGHT eastern standard time on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
