We are looking for passionate educators to join our leadership at the national level in promoting effective, innovative science education beyond your school or district. If elected, you will take office on June 1, 2026.
Eligible Offices for the 2026 Election
BOARD OF DIRECTORS (four openings)
President - 3-year term beginning June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2029 (Year 1 as President-elect; Year 2 as President; Year 3 as Retiring President)
3 Board Member At-Large Directors - 4-year term beginning June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2030 with the following competencies:

Communication and Advocacy Skills

Technical & Professional Knowledge within the Association/Organization Field

Professional & Industry Experience
LEADERSHIP COUNCIL (nine openings) - 3-year term beginning June 1, 2026
Members from the following Districts to serve as District Leaders:

District I: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island

District VI: North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee

District VII: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi

District XII: Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin

District XIII: New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas
